Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has inaugurated the Dire Dawa Industrial Park built at 150 ha of land.
The inauguration ceremony has been attended by Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Lelise Neme, and other top Government officials.
Four Companies engaged in garment and textile production are said to have started operations so far in fifteen working sheds in the industrial park.
When it goes fully operational in time, the Industrial Park is expected to create employment opportunities for over 20,000 jobs for citizens ENA reported.
